Adult Hatha/Dynamic

Yoga concentrates on a series of "Asanas" or "postures" combined with breath control exercises.  This session will begin with Pranayama and detox breathing exercise followed by a sequence of asanas.  As you progress with this class, you will gain greater flexibility in your body and mind, and we will then incorporate a more dynamic hatha practice.   As you progress in your practice, you will develop physical strength and emotional strength that will help you handle the challenges of life with a balanced disposition.

Pregnancy Yoga

Yoga is one of the best forms of exercise during pregnancy, a gentle, safe means of keeping toned and supple without strain, of keeping aches and pains at bay and energy flowing, of relaxing mind and body, and preparing for the physical demands of childbirth – and motherhood itself. Classic postures, rhythmical sequences and movements, integrating the flow of the breath at all times have been carefully adapted to the needs of pregnant women.

Baby Yoga

Yoga helps babies to relax, to become aware of their bodies, ease away stiffness, and even get a better night's sleep.  Parents confidence grows in handling, playing and having fun with their babies.  This is a fun class which also offers gentle post-natal yoga and tummy toning exercises for mummy!  For babies from 2 months to 10 months.

Post-natal Yoga

These are home visits.  We help new mums re-gain strength and muscle tone after having a baby through specifically tailored post-natal yoga exercises.

Toddler Yoga

Stretch, Move And Relax Together, is continuation of the baby yoga approach for mobile babies, toddlers and pre-school children. Using songs and rhymes alongside plenty of movement and stretching, this class is designed to support the transition from babyhood to independent movement.

Yoga for Kids

Children explore traditional yoga postures, breathing techniques and relaxation in a fun, accessible way.  Yoga for Children helps to:

o        Increases concentration

o        Develops flexibility, core strength and balance

o        Improves breathing and sleep patterns

o        Improves posture

o        Heightens self-esteem

o        Strengthens Immune System and calms central nervous system

o        Is a non-competitive form of exercise

One 2One 

This is the ideal way to learn yoga, as we are able to give you total attention and take a close look at what you are doing. If you are interested in having a one off private class, or regular classes, please e-mail or call us and we can arrange an initial meeting.

Corporate Yoga

Yoga Balance provides corporate yoga service to individuals and groups at the workplace.  Yoga at the workplace helps reduce stress levels and helps to energise the mind and body.   Currently we cover Greater London locations.  Please enquire for more information.

YOGA BALANCE IS NOW IN REGENTS PARK: THE HUB
We have now begun teaching our classes at the HUB in Regents Park.  What a fantastic location.  Baby Yoga classes are 11-12pm every Wednesday.

Yoga in Schools & Nurseries
If you are interested having kids yoga classes in your nursery, pre-school or school.  Please drop us and email and we'll send an information package directly to the school.

Childbirth Preparation Workshop 
The next 2hr partner workshop takes place on 21st Sept 2008.  Places are limited so please call to book your place.

Friday Baby Yoga Class
11am - 12pm.Classes are held at the Baden Powell Hall, John Keeble Church, Edgware. Please book early as spaces are limited.
